Various degrees of abstraction show up in my work from time to time, but usually with an emphasis on flow... like water. Most of my other work is more representational, hanging on the wall like windows to the California Coast or beyond- but these water abstractions are the opposite- they enter the room and fill the space with color and flow. I consider them my most "architectural" paintings.
