Maybe battle is the wrong word, it’s more of a chess match against a smart opponent. There is no way to ever truly know what move she’ll make next. Sometimes she let’s you finish the painting you started. Other times you have to change your strategy altogether just to capture the few pawns she lets you take. (These are the paintings you see here.) But some other times it’s check mate. Go back to the van and cook up some coffee. When you can’t see anything, you cant see anything. You’re done for the day.
