From the California/Mexico border to Point Conception.The Southern California Coast with it’s abundant sunshine and miles of beaches sheltered from the raw fury of the North Pacific by the bend in the coast at Point Conception and the offshore Channel Islands has birthed a beach lifestyle all its own. The crowds and carnival atmosphere can make it a crazy place… but I like it. And that said, even in this densely populated region there are places to be sought that will take you back to an older California-where you can spend an entire day and not see a single soul.
