FOAM TRAILS

I love watching these little foam trails that form after a set of waves crash into the shore and currents carry the foam off as they please. There’s a lot to learn of the ocean by observing these ephemeral records written on the surface of the sea- surface current direction, speed, time between sets of waves. If you wrap your head around them just right it’s like listening to a record’s needle dance in the grooves and all you hear is beautiful music.
