LOOK THIS UP

What Nature’s God Hath Wrought, by William Wendt.
My painting buddy, Wade Koniakwosky, and I went hunting for the exact vantage point where William Wendt painted his masterpiece. Pretty sure we found it. We both painted a quick rendition of the mountain from that spot just to do it. Not to try to paint another version of his painting. Neither of us looked at his painting during our paint session- we just wanted to react to the same mountain he had reacted to in that painting. A humbling experience indeed. But yeah, look up that painting! You’ll be stoked!
