It’s just a pattern and a fact of life, the kids in some wealthy communities (and if they live at the beach in certain areas, well…) tend to have a certain… sense of entitlement. If you look like you even might be a surfer, or checking the surf, or might go for a surf after you’re done painting, they’ll be sure to let you know they’d rather you not. It’s just how it is. No harm, no foul.
