PAINTINGS OF MURALS THAT CHRIS DEL MORO ORIGINALLY PAINTED

The first time I recall meeting Chris Del Moro was in my booth at a busy surfboard show where he boomed from across the crowded floor, “do you have any paintings of *** ****?”. I didn’t know who he was and I just shot back “Who wants to know?”, with all the don’t-name-spots fire I could muster. My buddy sat on the ice chest holding back laughter.
I got talking to Chris and turned out he’s one of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. He purchased a print or two and eventually commissioned a painting from me as well. When I had the opportunity to visit Italy in 2019 I knew I wanted to paint this painting of a mural he painted a few years prior. I haven’t given it to him yet, but it’s his- he just doesn’t know it, so keep it shush okay? I’ll get it to him soon.
