No joke. just out of the frame on the right is a little restaurant, more of a lunch shop really, not much atmosphere, just some tables and chairs on a little deck jutting into the middle of the road. Plastic tables, plastic chairs. Nothing to give the feel of a high-end food experience. But. Oh. My. When they served this little plate of lasagna I’d never had anything like it. Thin delicate layers of pasta like I’ve never seen. And I love lasagna anyway, but this… I didn’t know this could be done. Thank you, Italy. Thank you. Grazie, prego, and all that.
