All the surfing artists I know miss longboard magazine. Most of us never really read it, but they had an entire issue devoted to art once a year and it was bananas! I can’t believe they ran with it, when most of the surf media is afraid of publishing the wrong sort of art that might not be cool enough to impress hip New Yorkers. But then again, Longboard went belly up after a fairly short run, so it might have been all of us artists dragging it down with our surfy cartoons after all. Who knows. But anyway, thanks Longboard! And sorry ’bout that.
