NORTHERN LIGHTS

I’ve never seen the northern lights in person, so painting them was a good challenge. I must have painted and repainted them 7 times in the studio, never happy with how they looked, too forced, too subtle, just not right, etc… Finally I came up with this version that seemed to work well for this painting and I quit while I was ahead.
