HONEYBEES

It’s pretty rare I slow down enough to focus on the fine details like the insects in a painting. Usually I’m more concerned about them buzzing in my ears and mistaking my yellow paint for flowers. But this was a nice afternoon in a garden, with plenty of time to stop and smell the flowers… and notice the bees.
