HANDPRINTS OF FILMMAKERS FROM FILM FESTIVAL

Filmmakers in attendance at the 2014 San Diego Surf Film Festival were asked to trace their hands onto this canvas anywhere they chose as I worked them all into the painting during the course of the festival. A questionable aesthetic decision perhaps, but I like the fact that this painting was made while their films played to a packed hall and a piece of each of them is reflected on the finished painting.
