FUNK AND SPLATTER

Sometimes with studio paintings I like to rough ’em up a bit between sessions so I don’t get too attached to any particular area too early in the process. It forces me to keep building the whole painting to a richer finish. Sometimes the splatter and funk becomes a visible part of the finished paintings as well. These are those.
