Current Archive: From Scratch
This series emerged from the marks left behind on a Friday night by friends and strangers alike at the Misfit Gallery in La Jolla, CA where each visitor was handed a paint brush and encouraged to flow around the room on foot, skateboard, etc and leave their marks on these blank canvases hung around the gallery. During one frantic week those rough starts transformed into these finished paintings on site in the gallery, while the public was welcome to walk in and watch, heckle, buy burritos, or drink our beer in whichever order they chose.
