Artwork Notes | The Gamble of Art and Culture

The good old twisted eucalyptus. Brought here from Australia for railroad ties because it grows so fast. But in California’s climate it grows with a twist rendering it unusable for it’s original purpose. Now it’s everywhere, it smells great, it’s as beautiful as a tree can be, and I love it. If I had to have a favorite invasive species, it would have to be this one. Momma, can we keep it? Please?
